Farms in the Orsha district were the first in the Vitebsk region to exceed the threshold of 100 thousand tons harvested during the current harvesting campaign, the deputy chairman of the agricultural and food committee of the regional executive committee, Nikolai Olenich, told a BELTA correspondent. Orsha grain growers have harvested 81.5% of the areas, having threshed 101 thousand tons of grain with an average yield of 39.4 centners per hectare. The highest yield in the region is in the farms of the Verkhnedvinsk district - 40.6 centners per hectare. According to data as of the morning of August 24, 81% of the areas have been harvested in the region, about 941 thousand tons have been threshed, and the average yield is 33.4 centners per hectare.-0-
