To Christians celebrating Easter
April 5, 2015
Dear residents of the Vitebsk region!
I sincerely congratulate you on the Easter holiday!
Easter days come to us in a wonderful period of spring renewal. Just as the earth awakens under the sun, so in the bright Easter days millions of believers feel a special spiritual uplift and a desire to do good.
At all times, the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ has been the essence of faith, a symbol of hope, and a source of true love.
And in our fast-paced times, people draw strength from it to never betray their calling as a Human and a Christian under any circumstances.
May faith help you walk the good paths of this life, fill your hearts, and give true meaning to every day. The Easter mood brings joy and peace of mind to your homes, inspires creative work and acts of mercy.
I wish you strong health, optimism, happiness and well-being, success in matters for the benefit of our native Vitebsk region.
Sincerely,
Nikolai Shersnev,
Chairman
of the Vitebsk Regional executive committee
