For 30 years, IFMC in Vitebsk has become a cultural calling card of Belarus – Yury Bondar
"Over its 30-year existence, the festival has become a cultural hallmark not only of Vitebsk but of our entire country. Today, it is widely known beyond Belarus, recognized by the global choreographic community, and sets trends in modern choreography," emphasized Yuri Bondar.
Touching upon the celebration of the IFMC's anniversary, the Minister of Culture announced the decision to celebrate the festival's 30th anniversary next year as well, which is due to the alternation of national and international competitions. He wished all participants new creative victories, achievements, and optimism, and also expressed words of gratitude to the organizers and sponsors – everyone involved in the organization of this bright event in the cultural life of Belarus.
The International Festival of Modern Choreography (IFMC) was held in Vitebsk from November 15-19. Artists from Austria, Belarus, Germany, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Latvia, Romania, Slovenia, Ukraine, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and other countries performed at the anniversary forum.
