Over the weekend, 2 road traffic accidents occurred in the Vitebsk region

On July 25 and 26, 2 road traffic accidents occurred in the Vitebsk region, in which 2 people were injured, as reported by the agitation and propaganda department of the traffic police department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate.

Thus, on July 25, at about 10:30 PM, a resident of the village of Novka, Vitebsk district, driving a "Ford" car, hit a 45-year-old fellow villager lying on the roadway. The victim sustained injuries and was hospitalized.

In Miory district, on July 26, at about 3 PM, a resident of Polotsk, driving an Audi car on the "Polotsk-Miory-Braslav" highway, drove into the oncoming lane while overtaking and collided with a "Volkswagen" car driven by a resident of Miory. As a result of the accident, the wife of the Volkswagen driver, who was traveling in the car, sustained injuries and was taken to the district hospital.
