Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Penin met with the staff of the Begoml boarding school
Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Penin visited the Begoml Auxiliary School-Boarding School as part of the "Our Children" charity event.
After watching the New Year's performance prepared by the boarding school students, Vladimir Penin held a meeting with the staff. The meeting was attended by Dmitry Khoma, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Regional Executive Committee, and Oleg Kovalenok, Chairman of the Dokshitsy District Executive Committee. During the meeting, the participants discussed the upcoming referendum, as well as the draft amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. In particular, issues concerning the powers to be transferred from the President to the government were raised. Issues of marriage as a union of a woman and a man, family and motherhood, as well as the deployment of conscripts outside the Republic of Belarus to war zones to participate in ensuring collective security and maintaining international peace were also touched upon.
