Registration for the centralized testing is open from May 3 to June 1
April 28, Minsk / Yulia Vanina - BELTA /. Registration of applicants for participation in centralized testing (CT) begins on May 3. Registration will be held until June 1 (including Saturdays, May 15, 22, 29) from 8:00 to 20:00 at registration points. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Republican Institute for Knowledge Control of the Ministry of Education of Belarus.
When registering, an applicant must fill out an application, provide a document confirming payment for the acceptance and processing of documents for participation in centralized testing (Br10 thousand for one academic subject), and present a passport or residence permit in Belarus, or a refugee certificate, or a certificate issued in case of loss (theft) of an identity document.
This year, an automated registration system for CT has been introduced in Minsk and regional centers. The first stage of implementing the information system "Republican Database of Centralized Testing Participants" will cover the testing points in Minsk and regional centers. Such registration was carried out experimentally during the past admission campaign at Yanka Kupala Grodno State University and Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. The implementation of the automated information system will streamline the organization of registration and conduct it on the "one-stop-shop" principle.
According to the approved CT schedule, the first test – in Belarusian language – will take place on June 14. On June 15, applicants will take Russian language, on June 17 – History of Belarus, on June 18 – Geography, on June 20 – Mathematics, on June 22 – Social Studies, on June 24 – World History of the Latest Period, on June 25 – Physics, on June 27 – Biology, on June 29 – Foreign Languages, on June 30 – Chemistry. All tests will traditionally begin at 11:00. The reserve day for those who could not arrive for centralized testing on schedule for objective reasons is July 5.
Certificates, as in the past year, will be issued to everyone who scores from 1 point and above. The issuance of certificates to all applicants increases their chances of admission to universities and secondary vocational schools of both state-funded and private ownership.
By the way, the fee for conducting centralized testing must be paid to the account of the university where the applicant will take the test. For example, if an applicant registered for three tests at M. Tank Belarusian Pedagogical University, but will take the test at the Belarusian State University of Physical Education, then the payment must be made to the account of the University of Physical Education.
Not all universities in Belarus have been designated as CT registration points, but only a few dozen – where space allows. Therefore, when filling out documents, attention should be paid to the educational institution where the test itself will take place according to the pass issued to the applicant.
When applying to a secondary vocational school, an applicant can register for two test subjects, and to a university – for no more than three academic subjects: Belarusian or Russian language (choice) and two subjects in accordance with the profile (specialization) of the specialty.-0-
