The ban on visiting forests has been lifted in all districts of the Vitebsk region, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

In the region, as well as throughout the country, cool and rainy autumn weather has set in, which has favorably affected the situation in the forests. "Over the past weekend, dozens of calls were received by district executive committees from citizens asking about the possibility of going into the forest. To the delight of mushroom and berry pickers, visiting forests was allowed the day before, on September 8, in almost all districts, with the exception of the Liozno district. Today, the local district executive committee also lifted the ban," the department explained.

At the same time, the department reminded that when going into the forest, citizens must observe safety rules in order not to get lost or injured.
