Registration for the professional and psychological interview at Belarusian higher education institutions is open from March 5 to March 31

Registration will take place from March 5 to March 31 inclusive, and only in those higher education institutions that have been designated as interview venues for specific groups of specialties. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the department. The ministry noted that when applying to higher education institutions for specialties such as "Public Administration", "Public Administration and Law", "Public Administration and Economics", "International Relations", "International Law", "Jurisprudence", "Economic Law", "Journalism" (including if it is a secondary specialty), "International Journalism", "Customs Affairs", all applicants, regardless of the future form of education (full-time, part-time, day, evening, for obtaining a second higher education, and others), must first undergo a professional and psychological interview. Registration of citizens for participation in the interview is carried out based on their personal applications. When submitting an application in person, the citizen presents an identity document (passport). When sending an application by mail, a copy of the identity document must be attached. Applications sent by mail must be received by the higher education institution no later than March 31. Applications received after March 31 will not be considered. Registration for the same specialty (group of specialties) at different higher education institutions is not allowed. It is possible to register and undergo the professional and psychological interview at any higher education institution included in the list, regardless of where the applicant intends to enroll. The professional and psychological interview will be held from April 5 to April 30 in accordance with the schedules approved by the higher education institutions conducting the interview. Traditionally, the interview is conducted in the form of an individual conversation between the commission and the applicant in order to identify the applicant's personal qualities, business qualities, abilities, and motivation for studying the chosen specialty (group of specialties) in accordance with the Instructions on the Procedure for Conducting Professional and Psychological Interviews or Testing, approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus on February 26, 2008, No. 17 (the Instructions are posted on the website of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus).
