August 12, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Vitebsk has become the third regional center in Belarus where one can register as an electronic declarant without traveling to the capital. The registration center of the republican unitary enterprise "Information and Publishing Center for Taxes and Duties" has started operating here, the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent. The Vitebsk center, like similar units in Mogilev and Grodno, will issue the subscriber with a hardware carrier of key information, a disk with software for working with an electronic digital signature, and other necessary documents for virtual communication with the tax authorities. Previously, all of this required a trip to Minsk to the information and publishing center for taxes and duties. In addition, the Vitebsk regional center is ready, if necessary, to train users on electronic technologies and receive taxpayers from other regions of the republic. For the convenience of clients, pre-registration by phone has been organized. Since April 1 of this year, the tax authorities of Belarus have begun accepting electronic declarations from everyone, including individual entrepreneurs and individuals. In the Vitebsk region, there are currently 327 legal entities and 9 individual entrepreneurs using the electronic declaration system. -0-
