An oilseed processing plant has opened in the Vitebsk region

The festive event was attended by Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev, General Director of Vitebskoblgaz Unitary Enterprise Petr Shershen, and other officials.
The project, costing Br4.1 million, involved the reconstruction of a mill building into a new promising agricultural production facility, implemented by Vitebskoblgaz enterprise. The plant includes an oilseed processing line with a capacity of up to 7 tons of rapeseed per day and a complex for long-term raw material storage. The equipment is designed for processing oilseeds by pressing, which allows for the separation of rapeseed or soybean seeds into oil and cake.
The plant allows for the production of high-quality "R" grade rapeseed oil. The cake remaining after oil separation will be used for the agricultural branch's own needs, strengthening the feed base, while the sale of oil will generate additional profit.

The significance of the event was noted by the chairman of the regional executive committee. "The work of Vitebskoblgaz should be considered not only in the context of production. This organization sets the tone in all spheres absolutely: culture, sports, production," emphasized Nikolai Sherstnev. "Consistently, year after year, we are putting the village of Mazolovo in order: roads, trading houses, and well-maintained houses have appeared here. In parallel, production facilities are being commissioned, and additional jobs are being created. All conditions that correspond to the city's infrastructure are already in place here."

This day is marked for "Vitebskoblgaz" by a series of pleasant events: a new in-house TV studio of the enterprise has been presented to the general public; the building of the emergency dispatch service and a facility for the sale of gas equipment and spare parts have been solemnly opened in Vitebsk after modernization. In the village of Mazolovo, where the production base of the agricultural branch is concentrated, a Beauty and Health Center has also appeared. The goal of its opening is to improve the comfort for local residents. Hairdressing services will be provided here, fitness room classes will be held, and a sewing workshop will operate.
Regarding the plans, Petr Shershen noted that in the future, the management of the agricultural branch intends to develop the production chain of the oilseed processing plant to bring it to the final stage – the production of the finished product. This year, preparations will begin for a project to expand the dairy farm in the village of Kalinovo, Vitebsk region. A modern complex for 180 heads of cattle and additional social infrastructure facilities will be created there. Work is planned to commence in 2021.
