A mineral water bottling plant will appear near Vitebsk

August 15, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. A mineral water bottling plant will be built near Vitebsk, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

Open Joint Stock Company "Rudakovo" has developed and approved the project documentation for the facility "Plant for the extraction and bottling of mineral water at OJSC "Rudakovo" in the village of Novka, Vitebsk region", an artesian well for mineral water has been drilled. The analysis data of the mineral water sample have been sent to the Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus to obtain a conclusion on the balneological assessment. 

OJSC "Rudakovo", along with UP "Ushachi Vegetable Drying Plant", SOOO "Vitebsk Non-alcoholic Beverage Plant", GP "BelarusTorg" of Dokshitsy district, UP "Sanatorium Lyottsy" of Vitebsk region, branch of OJSC "Krinitsa" "Polotskoye Pivo" was included in the republican comprehensive action plan for the effective use of explored mineral water reserves for 2009-2012, which was developed for further development of production of mineral therapeutic and table and drinking water.

As reported by the committee, the reconstruction of one of the production buildings of the Ushachi Vegetable Drying Plant into a unit for bottling mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages is currently being completed. The capacity of the new equipment will be 3 thousand bottles per hour. The water will be bottled in plastic bottles with a capacity of 0.33 l to 2 l. 

Along with the republican plan, the regional subprogram "Vitebsky Rodnik" is being implemented in the Vitebsk region within the framework of the regional program for innovative and investment development for 2011-2015. This subprogram covers enterprises engaged in the production and bottling of mineral and drinking water in consumer packaging (Ushachi Vegetable Drying Plant, Vitebsk Non-alcoholic Beverage Plant, "BelarusTorg" of Dokshitsy district, "Lyottsy" sanatorium, branch of OJSC "Krinitsa" "Polotskoye Pivo") and sanatoriums of the region that extract mineral water for therapeutic purposes - Lepel Military Sanatorium, "Rosinka" children's sanatorium, "Lesnoye" sanatorium.-0-
