The «Vetraź» plant has started producing components for Italian elevators
In January, Begoml's OJSC "Zavod "Vetraź" began producing components for elevators under the brand of the well-known Italian firm "Vega SRL". But this is not the only innovation from local specialists – in February, the production of self-tapping screws will also be launched here.
As reported to "Vitebskiye Vesti" by the enterprise's director Anatoly Sivko, in cooperation with Italian partners, "Vetraź" has mastered the production of two modifications of call panels, equipped with a liquid crystal display and an anti-vandal button, intended for equipping elevator cabins. The contract is long-term, with a monthly production volume of branded products amounting to at least 1.5 billion rubles. At this stage, the foreign customer provides the Belarusian manufacturer with components and technical documentation, while the assembly of the panels is carried out directly in Begoml.
– Agreements have already been reached that in May, the investor will supply additional equipment to Begoml, after which we will produce the main components of the panels directly at our site, – said Anatoly Sivko.
In addition, the plant is completing the setup of equipment purchased in 2015 to organize the production of another type of modern fasteners – self-tapping screws. Begoml specialists will promote this innovation within the country, and are also exploring the possibility of entering foreign markets, primarily the Russian regions. The plans also include expanding the production of spring washers, for which additional machines have also been acquired.
Today, the monthly production volume of the Begoml enterprise exceeds 3 billion rubles. At the same time, up to 85% of the products are supplied to the management company of the "Mogilevliftmash" holding, which includes "Vetraź".
