Land issue and unfair competition – Anatoly Linevich held a reception of citizens in Beshenkovichi district
"In the Beshenkovichi district, residents promptly signal problems, and many issues were resolved quickly during the discussion," noted Anatoly Linevich following the direct line and reception of citizens.
6 people contacted Anatoly Linevich by phone and in person for a reception with their questions. These were residents not only of the Beshenkovichi district. A resident of Postavy, who had already contacted the President's Assistant on a direct line, was concerned about unfair competition in the freight transportation sector. One of his business colleagues is intercepting orders, processing them bypassing tax regulations and classifying them as delivery services. The transport inspectorate, as the entrepreneur explained, had already dealt with this issue, but tax authorities should also be involved. Anatoly Linevich took the issue under control and promised that if necessary, all interested services would be involved in this case.
A resident of Orsha was concerned about a land issue affecting his wife's interests. Her plot in a gardening cooperative was not registered in time due to the gardener's health condition, so she might lose her cultivated plots. This problem was also considered in court, but a final decision has not yet been made. The pensioner asked for a detailed study of this issue. Anatoly Linevich announced that he would organize a reception of citizens in the Orsha district and sort out the situation on site.
A resident of Beshenkovichi complained during a direct line about the unsanitary condition of an apartment in a multi-story building where he lives. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that an unemployed woman, who occupies the living space belonging to her father, stores found garbage in it. Neighbors are concerned about the stench emanating from her apartment and the gnats flying from there, which are impossible to get rid of. During Anatoly Linevich's reception, the chief physician of the district hospital and the director of the housing and communal services visited the site. They reported that the unpleasant smell was no longer present. This issue is under their constant control. The unemployed woman has been visited at home more than once to call her to order and help tidy up the living space. However, she either did not open the door to representatives of local authorities and employees of housing and communal services and healthcare, or promised to clean everything up herself. Housing and communal services workers forcibly cleaned the cluttered apartment a month and a half ago, removing one and a half trailers of garbage. However, the woman has returned to her old ways, and her home is once again turning into a dump. Anatoly Linevich instructed to see this issue through to the end, involve the sanitary station, and resolve the problem within the framework of the law.
A housing issue, but of a different nature, was received from a resident of the Beshenkovichi district. After her husband's death, she cannot insure her house because it needs to be re-registered in her name. At her advanced age of 84, it is difficult for the woman to travel to the district center to process the documents. And she may not have enough funds for all the necessary papers. Anatoly Linevich instructed the head of the district to visit the applicant, understand the situation, and help her with the processing of the necessary documents.
Another resident of the district center is interested in why the criminal case initiated against her father has been sent for further investigation. Last autumn, he took a bicycle from his neighbors without permission to go to his dacha, but returned the vehicle. The victim has no claims against the man. He was fined, which the pensioner cannot pay because there is no resolution from the prosecutor's office. The woman asked to look into this matter and find out if the case is closed and how to pay the fine. Anatoly Linevich instructed to consider the issue with the Department of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee. He will also instruct the regional prosecutor's office to investigate this matter in detail.
A resident of Beshenkovichi approached the President's aide with the problem of non-payment of wages. He got a job as a laborer for finishing work without a formal employment contract and has been waiting for the promised payments since Christmas. Anatoly Linevich emphasized that the case would not be simple, as the man blindly trusted the employer, understanding the risks. However, the case will be studied in detail, and the employer will be held accountable if possible.
