The land management service of the region celebrates its professional holiday
According to Igor Levenkov, Head of the Land Management Service of the Regional Executive Committee, in 2017, 160 land plots were sold at auctions for private ownership for the construction and maintenance of residential buildings in the Vitebsk region, which is 25% more than in 2016. This year, the Regional Executive Committee has set a task to sell 250 such plots.
By the order of the President of Belarus, 211 land plots (100 in the Braslav district) have been designated in six districts of the Vitebsk region for the creation of tourism facilities, including agritourism. They have been selected in attractive locations – on the banks of rivers, lakes, near forest areas. All have been agreed with the head of state, and work is currently underway with potential investors.
In 2017, land users were issued over 1460 orders to eliminate identified violations, and 1194 protocols were drawn up.
In general, regional land management services have prepared and submitted to executive committees for consideration more than 16 thousand draft decisions on the withdrawal and provision of land plots to legal entities and individuals, and individual entrepreneurs.
– Our service is aimed at the clear implementation of legislation and coordinated work with land users, district executive committees, and village councils to bring order to the land. In the Year of Small Motherland, together we must make every effort to improve our native region, so that our Vitebsk region becomes the most beautiful of all, – notes Igor Levenkov.
