A resident of Krulyavshchyna created the logo of the II European Games from 5187 plastic caps

Alexander Demidovich, a resident of the agro-town of Kruplevshchina, Dokshitsy District, has created a vibrant logo of the II European Games from plastic caps. He used 5,187 caps of the required colors and spent about two weeks on meticulous work.

However, the impressive-sized craft (1.7x2.8 m) was not created by him alone – his daughters helped. Five-year-old Arina diligently found the cap pieces of the required colors, while 12-year-old Daria was responsible for the reliability of the fastening. It is noteworthy that the family members started collecting the mosaic elements last year.

– Many different interesting things can be made from caps, – notes Alexander. – We chose a sports theme not by chance; we are proud that such significant sporting competitions will be held in our country.

Initially, the colorful panel decorated the yard, and now it is located on the roadside of the busy Minsk-Vitebsk road near gas station No. 18 in the urban settlement of Begoml.

In the future, Alexander Demidovich plans to continue creating colorful drawings with a sports theme, which may be dedicated to football or athletics.

By the way, Alexander works as an occupational safety and fire safety engineer at the Krulyevshchizna section of RUP "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblnefteprodukt". He is not only a proponent of a healthy lifestyle but also an active participant in various sports competitions, in particular, he is the winner of district table tennis tournaments.
