A resident of Liozno stole church utensils from a temple

January 10, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. A resident of Liozno stole church utensils from a local church, the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Security Department informed a BelTA correspondent. The man, born in 1968, was detained on the night of January 8-9 by a patrol of the Liozno Security Department. The police found out that he broke a padlock, entered the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, and stole church utensils. A criminal case has been initiated against this person under Part 1 of Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of Belarus, which provides for up to three years of imprisonment.-0-
