Residents of the Ushachy district are most concerned about housing repair and improvement issues

Housing and communal services issues most concerned the residents of Ushachy district during a personal reception with the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Vladimir Andreichenko, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by Irina Litvinova, chief specialist of the sector for working with citizens' and legal entities' appeals of the Ushachy District Executive Committee.

13 residents of the district visited the speaker today. The housing and communal services issues concerned the possibility of putting houses on the waiting list for capital repairs, compliance with the temperature regime, balcony repairs, and improvement of city streets.

Members of the "Zarechny" consumer cooperative of the urban-type settlement of Ushachy, commissioned on September 28 of this year, came to the speaker with words of gratitude. This cooperative included 173 people who united to gasify their homes using preferential opportunities provided by legislation for such cases.

Citizens' appeals also concerned the possibility of reviewing pension accruals; registering citizens in need of improved housing conditions; postponing the commissioning of an individual residential building constructed using a preferential loan, in order to start its repayment later; and privatizing a house located on land managed by the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. To resolve the latter two issues, Vladimir Andreichenko suggested that citizens contact him in writing as the deputy for the Dokshitsy electoral district No. 22.

The Chairman of the House of Representatives gave exhaustive answers and clarifications on all received appeals.
