Residents of the Vitebsk region are most concerned about solving everyday problems

August 26, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. More than 200 residents of the Vitebsk region personally contacted the interdepartmental working group for studying the state of work of executive and administrative bodies of the Vitebsk region during all three stages of the monitoring. Approximately the same number of calls were received by the hotlines of the interdepartmental group, the head of the working group, Director of the National Center for Legal Information of Belarus Oleg Kravtsov, told a BELTA correspondent. During the first and second stages, the work of officials of Tolochin, Vitebsk, Shumilino districts, and the cities of Novopolotsk and Orsha was studied. The third stage of monitoring, which is still ongoing in the region, began with personal receptions of citizens in Gluboksky and Postavy districts. 59 residents of these territories attended the receptions, and the same number called. The majority of appeals concerned the solution of everyday life problems. For example, in the Gluboksky district, rich in lakes, the problem of flooding of farmsteads during floods was most often raised. Local authorities are already concerned about it and are looking for solutions, the members of the interdepartmental group were assured at the district executive committee. In the Postavy district, based on residents' appeals, the interdepartmental group drew attention to the work of the land management service. A large number of disputes are caused by insufficient consideration of issues by specialists, which leads to justified complaints. "It's time to shake up this service in the district," believes Oleg Kravtsov. Currently, members of the interdepartmental working group have traveled to the districts of the region to monitor the quality and effectiveness of the implementation of instructions given at the previous two stages of monitoring. The Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, in execution of the head of state's instructions, began the third stage of large-scale monitoring of the work of local authorities with the population on August 23. Along with the work of the interdepartmental group in the Vitebsk region, the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Belarus Valery Mitskevich held a personal reception without prior appointment in the Chashniksky district. The regional branch of the public association "Belaya Rus" also receives citizens in its public reception offices in Miory and Ushachy districts. -0-
