The lives of children injured in the Liozno district are not in danger

One child died and three children were injured in the Liozno district, presumably from an explosive device from the Great Patriotic War, investigator for particularly important cases of the investigative department of the Vitebsk region prosecutor's office Alexander Tavtyn told a BELTA correspondent. The tragedy occurred around 4:30 PM on the outskirts of the village of Pnevo. According to the victims, a boy born in 2000 began to hit some metal object, which he found and brought himself. As a result, an explosion occurred, which caused the death of this boy and the injury of three other children - a boy born in 2001 and two girls born in 2002 and 2004. Currently, the children are in a hospital in Vitebsk. According to doctors, their lives are not in danger. The investigative department of the regional prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation, and the necessary examinations are being appointed. Unfortunately, apart from the injured children, there are no other witnesses to the incident. To clarify the full picture, investigators will have to wait until the children recover. -0-
