Z. Lomat criticized the authorities of the Dubrovno district for inefficient land use

June 18, Minsk /BELTA/. Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus Zenon Lomat, during his visit to Dubrovno district, criticized local authorities for inefficient land use. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the SCC. The State Control Committee monitored the situation in the district. The SCC Chairman noted that the district land management service does not always perform its functions at the proper level. In a number of villages, land plots after the demolition of houses by former owners have not been used for a long time; they have become overgrown with bushes and weeds. As the head of the SCC said, the land management service does not exercise proper control over agricultural land in the permanent use of agricultural enterprises. Thus, facts of non-use of agricultural land have been established in KUSHP "Zaruby", PSK "Kolkhoz Bobrovo", KUSHP "Pridneprovsky", KUSHP named after Chernyakhovsky, OAO "Agrobudskoye", PSK "Kolkhoz 40 let Oktyabrya". Broad information to citizens about the availability of free (unused) land plots located in Dubrovno and in the rural settlements of the district, which can be provided to citizens for the construction and maintenance of residential buildings and collective gardening, has not been established. Violations have been committed both in the formation of lists of free land plots and in the dissemination of information about their availability. The Chairman of the State Control Committee emphasized that work to ensure compliance with land legislation and to bring order to the land is one of the most important duties of local authorities, and demanded that the Dubrovno District Executive Committee carry out this work at the proper level. At the meeting of the District Executive Committee, Zenon Lomat noted that these issues will be under the constant control of the SCC. The head of the control department also analyzed the state of the district's industrial complex and noted the presence (based on the results of five months) of four loss-making organizations, including OAO "Dubrovno Flax Mill". This enterprise records a significant increase in finished goods inventories: 259 tons of long fiber were produced in 5 months, and as of June 7, there were 245 tons of long flax fiber in stock, or almost a five-month production volume. However, the quality of this flax does not meet the requirements of the consumer of long flax fiber - RUPTP "Orsha Flax Mill". Thus, a critical situation is developing at the enterprise, but the local authorities are indifferent to the difficulties of the Dubrovno Flax Mill. In this regard, Zenon Lomat urged the leadership of the District Executive Committee to take urgent measures to bring the enterprise out of its difficult financial situation. After the meeting of the District Executive Committee, the SCC Chairman visited OAO "Dubrovno Flax Mill". At the enterprise, the head of the SCC was shown a new production line, familiarized with the technological process, and told what measures are planned to improve the situation. In particular, since the Orsha Flax Mill does not have machines for processing low-quality long flax fiber, the Dubrovno residents propose to purchase new equipment that will allow processing the flax fiber currently not in demand by Orsha. -0-
