"Golden River" will appear in Ushachi and will replicate the district center's coat of arms

Reconstruction of the central square is nearing completion in Ushachi. Its centerpiece will be a "golden river," echoing the outline of the emblem of the district center.

Tiles with the corresponding pattern were custom-made at the Novopolotsk reinforced concrete products plant. Modern, light, and airy light fixtures have been installed, and small architectural forms and flowerbeds have been thoughtfully designed. Car parking will now be located in a special "pocket" of the street's roadway. This decision was driven by safety concerns, as schoolchildren from the urban settlement use the square to get to school.

Storm drains have been installed: now, during rain, water will flow into the sewage system instead of the DYuSSh yard and the sports ground. Curbs are being installed, and the foundation for the Christmas tree and the concrete structure of the district's Honor Board have been mounted.

As reported by Alexander Losev, Head of the Capital Construction Department of Ushachi District, the tender for the work was won by the Ushachi Housing and Communal Services Enterprise. Many of the tasks are being carried out in-house, which has made it possible to reduce the project cost by almost 200 million rubles (pre-denomination). Specialists from Ushachi PMS, Shumilino PMK-40, and other organizations are assisting the general contractor.
