Zonal selections of the "100 Ideas for Belarus" initiative are starting in the Vitebsk region
This year, the selection of initiatives for the republican competition "100 Ideas for Belarus" begins not with the regional stage, but with zonal selections - at the level of districts and primary organizations with the rights of district committees. The first in the Vitebsk region to hold their territorial selection was the primary organization of the Vitebsk State Medical University.
"At the exhibition-presentation, the results of their work will be presented by the authors of innovative projects not only from our university, but also from some other educational institutions in Vitebsk. Almost all projects are social in nature: a group study of various aspects of a healthy lifestyle based on dormitories, the "Eco-dormitory" project, training sessions with adolescents from risk groups based on three schools in Vitebsk, and others. But there are also scientific developments. For example, our sixth-year student has finalized the fourth version of his device - the "MK-4" ultraviolet filter, which is used to purify the air in the operating room. It is compact and does not require much energy. A representative from the Veterinary Academy will also present their version of phytotherapy for animals," said Dmitry Kuznetsov, secretary of the BRSM primary organization of the medical university.
Based on the results of the meeting of the regional expert council, the authors of the best projects will receive a voucher to participate in the city competition. A special feature of the exhibition will be the nomination "Best Innovative Project," the author of which will receive a certificate for free training at the "Startup School Vitebsk." In addition, before the event, a seminar-training for volunteers "I am a Citizen of the Republic of Belarus" will be held, during which VSMU students who wish to join the university's volunteer movement will receive the very first and most important guidance from experienced trainers.
"100 Ideas for Belarus" is a republican youth project of the NGO "BRSM," the main task of which is to activate the innovative activities and professional mobility of youth, the creation and
promotion of specific innovative projects and promising scientific and technical developments.
