President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited the Vitebsk region today on a working trip. The head of state visited agricultural organizations that are part of the structure of OJSC "Moloko" and assessed the work being carried out in the region to create agro-industrial associations.

The single tax rate for individual entrepreneurs and self-employed citizens in the II and III quarters of the year in the Vitebsk region has been halved. This decision was made today by the regional Council of Deputies at a regular session. Tax reliefs will affect about 9,000 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

The 75th anniversary of Victory was celebrated more modestly than previously planned due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, in all regions, the memory of fallen soldiers was honored and veterans of the Great Patriotic War were congratulated.

In these pre-holiday days, words of congratulations are addressed primarily to veterans. Due to the complex epidemiological situation in Vitebsk, festive receptions in honor of the Great Patriotic War participants are not being held this year. Instead, the war heroes are congratulated in person, with all safety measures observed.

At the meeting of the regional operational headquarters for the protection of the population from coronavirus infection on April 8, the new head of the main department for healthcare of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee was introduced. It was Mikhail Vishnevetsky.
