President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, making personnel decisions, approved appointments in the leadership of the local vertical of five regions of the country, the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, the Bobruisk City Executive Committee, as well as one of the districts of the capital.

Vladimir Yurgievich has been appointed as an Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region. The corresponding personnel decision was made by the head of state, Alexander Lukashenko.

The business visit was organized by the Center for International Cooperation of the Smolensk Region. The delegation was headed by the director of this center, Artyom Jones. It also included representatives of the enterprises involved in providing school meals in Smolensk.

The last bell on May 24 will ring for more than 16.5 thousand graduates in the Vitebsk region, including 11,259 ninth-graders and 5,254 eleventh-graders.

The Vitebsk Regional Employers' Union summed up the results of the traditional competitions for awarding the honorary titles "Best Manager of the Year", "Best Specialist of the Year", and "Best Scientific Developer of the Year" for 2024.

The educational platform gathered about 150 participants from all over the country – leaders of territorial and primary organizations of the BRSM, the country's largest industrial flagships, and activists of the Youth Union.

Today in Vitebsk, at the memorial complex "5th Regiment", the solemn opening of the memorial sign "Tree of Life" to the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War took place. Representatives of local authorities, the prosecutor's office, workers of labor collectives and students, WWII veterans, and clergy gathered for the event.
