The reorientation of the agro-industrial complex of the Vitebsk region should ensure the financial stability of enterprises. Serious steps in this direction will be taken next year. This was demanded by the President of the country, who drew attention to the need to fundamentally change approaches to farming and determine the focus of agricultural production – milk, beef, pork, or poultry. The main thing is to ensure economic efficiency.

Public discussion of the architectural and planning concept for the facility "Specialized trampoline hall in Vitebsk" has begun in the regional center. The tender for its development was won by specialists from "Vitebskgrazhdanskproekt". The first combine harvester crews in the Vitebsk region to harvest over a thousand tons of grain were honored in the Lepel district at the agricultural production branch of the Vitebsk meat processing plant "Zaazerye". Just a few days ago, an agreement was reached on financing the most famous long-term construction project in Vitebsk – a polyclinic in the South-7 microdistrict. Thanks to the funds of the Development Bank aimed at completing the construction, the medical institution is planned to be commissioned next year.

Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Shersnyov inspected the progress of Dubrovo's preparations for the "Dazhynki" festival-fair of rural workers. The governor visited landmark sites: a school, a kindergarten, the Civil Registry Office, the House of Culture, and did not overlook the city stadium. The reconstruction list for "Dazhynki" includes 80 buildings. Housing stock, social facilities, roads. According to specialists, about 70 percent are ready. Time will tell whether the builders will manage by the end of September – "Dazhynki" is scheduled for the end of September.

By order of the President, the preparation and progress of the harvest are under the close attention of law enforcement officers and rescuers. In the Vitebsk region, joint groups have been created comprising representatives of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the prosecutor's office, the state control committee, the state technical supervision inspectorate, and the police. The focus is on the readiness of agricultural machinery, compliance with fire and labor safety rules, and the preservation of the new harvest. The schedule for the visits of such groups has been approved by the regional prosecutor.
